Welcome to La parrilla de Raul, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Cdad. Autonoma de Buenos Aires. Located at Maipu 665, this authentic Argentinian restaurant is more than just a place to eat; it’s an experience that embodies the rich culinary tradition of parrilla, or grilled meats, famous throughout Argentina.
As you step inside, you may notice the rustic finish that gives the restaurant a warm and inviting atmosphere—a perfect backdrop for enjoying some of the finest cuts of meat the country has to offer. The reviews speak for themselves; diners rave about the quality of the steaks and the extensive menu that showcases traditional Argentinian flavors. Customer Joe McMorrow highlights the “fantastic” food and the delightful Malbec, which pairs perfectly with the robust meats.
What sets La parrilla de Raul apart is its commitment to affordability without sacrificing quality. Linh Nguyen shared her joy in discovering excellent parrilla at a price that won’t break the bank. The picaña, a tender cut of beef, is offered at a vivid 13.5k ARS, allowing you to relish the taste of Argentina without guilt.
The delightful atmosphere is complemented by the attentive, albeit busy, staff. As noted by Yelyzaveta Kurchynok, the owner is particularly welcoming, enhancing the overall dining experience with personal touches and genuine hospitality.
For those seeking a hearty meal, the menu is filled with crowd-pleasers. M Wong discovered this during a visit when the smell of grilled meat lured him away from his original choice of choripan. Instead, he indulged in a variety of dishes—including chorizo and chinchulines—all served in generous portions that left patrons satisfied and smiling. It’s hard to believe one can enjoy all of this for around $20USD for two people, making it an incredible value for a memorable meal.
Add to this the ambiance of watching football on a large screen, and it’s clear why La parrilla de Raul is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. In a city known for its culinary delights, this restaurant stands out as a true representation of Argentina’s grilled meat tradition. Whether you’re a meat lover or simply looking for a fantastic dining experience, this parrilla is sure to satisfy your cravings and leave you longing for your next visit.

Rustic finish but the food was fantastic! The staff were super busy. I assume the low number of staff was reflective on the price of their high quality meats but nonetheless it was great! Highly recommend, and there house Malbec was 10/10 also!

We originally wanted to get a choripan but the grilled meat smelled really good! We got a chorizo, bite de chorizo and chinchulines. Also got the potato fries. Huge portion size and amazing taste. Very friendly service. Very good for value. The entire meal was around $20usd for 2 people. They have a huge tv screen to watch football as well!

Great food, grilled to perfection (medium rare) and generous portions. The place needs a bit of a clean up, but it delivers way better than it looks. The owner is a super friendly gentleman who didn’t speak English but we communicated very well using Google translate and our limited Spanglish. He was very helpful and accommodating. Prices are at half of what another tourist place would charge. Highly recommended.

Good place! Not the cleanest one, but surely the friendliest one with a great guy ruling it. The food was decent, especially we adored the way they kept the beer cold haha
